Common questions

How fresh are the bus positions? buni gets new positions about once a minute from 511.org, so a vehicle on the map can be up to a minute or so behind where it really is.

Why isn't a bus showing? buni shows vehicles that are running a route. Buses that are parked, out of service, or not reporting a position don't appear.

Are the stop times live predictions? Not yet. The times in a bus's card are the timetable's scheduled times, so a late bus can show times that have already passed.

Why does it say "live data paused"? buni hasn't received new positions for several minutes. It keeps showing the last positions it had and catches up on its own once data returns.
